I bought this pack 3 years ago on eBay after reading a great review in Backpacking magazine. I've used it on day, weekend, and longer hikes and it handles all the stuff I can fit in it comfortably.

Hip padding is fantastic and you hardly notice weight on your back. Often use it on 14ers where side traverses require some easy 5 scrambling and the pack contours well to your body. Only drawback is the almost 6# weight.
