Anyone familiar with Big Bend Ntl Park?
My wife and I are looking at spending a week at Big Bend Ntl Park (TX) in in mid-November. I'm having a tough time finding helpful information online for those seeking to backpack for a number of days in the park. Any suggestions? Books? Websites? Resources? Thanks

Or try typing Big Bend National Park into your browser and go to the National Park Service website, theres one for each national park and monument.

The www.virtualbigbend.com is a cool site. You can see all of Big Bend in 3D and move the pointer all around up and down and see all the pictures of all over Big Bend. I have not been there myself but after seeing this site I want to go!

I guess I'm still looking for something with some substantial backcountry reviews of extended multi-day hikes. So far nada!!
