Comments:
AAh, now Woolrich is seeing the light. But I've never seen an "intercoastal island", whatever that is. Asian-made pants (in my experience) are almost always smaller in the waist. Since these have elastic gores in the belt line, they are bang on.
My minor gripes are the small belt loops (they won't fit an inch and a half wide belt, which most of my belts are). And I've never been a big fan of zippered rear pockets. They're difficult to get in to, if you have big hands. And they're not very deep. An improvement would be larger patch pockets, with or without flaps IMHO. But I'll be fine with these because of the golfer-friendly zip off legs.
I'm sure these would work OK in some offices too. And 6.5 oz. of a tough canvas-like smooth feeling cotton, will be as durable hiking as bummin' around town. I liked 'em so much I bought 8 pair. $23.95 on another site. My only shorts color now is khaki (it goes with everything I have). The pants conversion is a bonus and I couldn't care less about how the hidden zipper material looks around the legs.
