White Sierra Trabagon Jacket
Pros
- Lightweight
- Packable
- Effective
Cons
- Could be more breathable
This lightweight hardshell has performed well for me and is offered at great price point. It can be packed into its own pocket which makes it perfect for a backpack. The hood has some slight rigidity in the bill which provides a little extra protection and the drawstrings around the hood and hem and velcro around the wrists and over the front zipper are all effective. Sizing seems accurate and the jacket is comfortable.
There is venting on the back but I think I might like some pit zips as well. Not the most breathable hard shell out there but for the price I'd say this is will serve you well. A good look too. I have the burnt yellow and the color is terrific.
I'd suggest keeping your eye on Sierra Trading Post for this one. They already offer it at 38% off retail and they'll take an additional 15% to 35% off on occasion.

A great lightweight rain and wind stopper that compresses down very small and is very breathable.
Pros
- Material moves nice when bending and moving .
- Very breathable when back vent not obstructed.
- Compacts down very small?
Cons
- Could use pit zips
- Needs more vents
Overall I have enjoyed this jacket very much. After going through several other jackets that didn't breathe well and were not 100% waterproof, I finally found the one!
