Vapur Element
Collapsable water bottle that does not taint the taste.
Pros
- Light
- No taste
- Shrinks down when used up.
- Has a clip-on carabiner.
Cons
- Sharp edges, snaggy and could tear mesh holders.
- Not much capacity.
- Folds can wear and cause leaks.
Kind of a niche product, but it's cool for carrying when a regular water bottle would be too large and bulky. Or you want to shrink it down when used, like carrying wine into the backcountry.
I like to stuff in my pocket when skiing (can hold other liquids as well!) and much nicer if you fall and jam it into your ribs than a hard bottle.
I am on my second one as the first leaked, but it was a free over the counter exchange and the second one seems better.

Nice soft bottle if you are looking for a water carrier.
Pros
- Packs small
- Ability to freeze liquids while in the bottle
- Dishwasher safe
- Nice drinking spout
- Made in the USA
Cons
- Drinking spout is small (if you like bigger openings)
This is nice soft water bottle that is durable. My wife and I have been using one for about a year now and have had no issues with leaking.
My wife likes to take this bottle skiing. She worries about hard bottles if she fell, she might get injured.
Some of the features I like:
- BPA free
- Ability to freeze liquids in the bottle
- Dishwasher safe
- Carabiner attached to spout, used to hold the bottle rolled up and for hanging while out in the backcountry.
I usually take one if these while backpacking as a backup if I lose one of my Nalgene bottles. I like how compact it is when not full.
