Teton Sports Altos-S 0 Ultralight Mummy Bag
Great sleeping bag, warm down to at least 0 degrees.
Pros
- Warm
- Comfortable
- Water resistant
- Moisture wicking
Cons
- Can be bulky for backpacking
This sleeping bag is likely the best which I have used. It packs down reasonably small for the 0° F temperature rating and can be taken on extended trips.
I have used it for trips in northern Maine with temperatures as low as -8° F and it handled fine despite this being below the rating. I also add a wool blanket to increase the warmth capacity.
Background
I have used several sleeping bags. This one I have had for three years and used it on about 10-15 trips during that time, each between one and three weeks. I bought it new and have used it heavily.
