Tentsile T-Mini Double Hammock
Perfect for a day trip with a friend.
Pros
- Inviting design
- Comfortable 2-person hammock
- Looks cool
Cons
- No instructions included
- Have to have an ideal configuration of three trees
- Not good for one person
The T-Mini 2-Person Double Hammock is a fun hammock to take on a group camping trip. Its wide, flat surface invites your friends to climb aboard and relax with you, and the webbing reinforcement ensures that you don't roll or slide into each other.
Oddly enough, hanging instructions aren't included with the hammock and it's not totally easy to find the correct version (or generation) of your hammock on Tentsile's product manual page.
The YouTube video I found did a great job of explaining how to correctly attach the different straps and connectors.
At a campground, it's tricky to find three trees in perfect configuration to hang the Tentsile, so it took us a few tries to get it right. Once set up, the straps stayed tight.
I can't see how one person can use it comfortably. Even with the seatbelt webbing underneath released almost completely, there is still an uncomfortable ridge down the center that is hard to get past. But don't worry; someone will be along to join you soon! It's irresistible.
Background
I have a lot of experience using standard one-person hammocks, but this is my first time using a Tentsile product or a two-person hammock. I used this hammock during a group camping trip at a state park.
