Taiga Expedition Jacket

rated 4.0 of 5 stars

They don't make this exact jacket anymore but here is my review:

-best hood of any jacket out there, fits over any helmet and is infinitely adjustable

-excellent fit, good length in the body and arms. Great articulated sleeves. Powder cuff has saved me from many a cold back

-chest pockets tend to snag on the mesh liner when you open and close them

-Pit zips are a bit bulky but weather tight

-huge, durable front zipper that opens up or down for venting options

-very durable, has lasted through 3 years of hard skiing, hiking, backpacking, and manymany wipeouts and doesn't show any wear at all, just remember to refurbish the DWR once a year!

Buy Canadian, stick with Taiga, MEC, and Arcteryx
