I got these just after the pandemic's start, to replace my broken Oakley M Frames for cycling. They have in more recent years become my favorites for hiking instead.

I've used them year-round because the give you such a sharp true image. I keep them on an original Chums cotton retainer so I can drop them if needed in cloudy conditions or if it's just too dark out.

I'm pretty sure they are discontinued. Suncloud currently make other frames with the similar lens. I also reviewed my Suncloud Vouchers which are still being made at the current time. Its not often I'll go back to the same brand unless I'm really sold on them. They are a good bargain and since the parent co is Smith Optics its hard to fault them in any way.

Background

I lived on a beach and surfed for nearly 30 years. I can honestly say I've had about 50 pairs of sunglasses. I still have my pre-Ray Ban aviators with G15 lens by B&L that are 40 years old. Broke my Wayfarers and broke my beloved Vuarnet Cateyes. Have had Foster Grants, cheap no names, Performance Cycle, Nashbar and too many others to remember. Wish I still had my '80s Abercrombie & Fitch glacier glasses.
