Ease of Use:

This harness is a little clumsy to put on and take off (if your dog doesn't love having gear slipped over its head it may not be excited about putting the harness on), but its excellent performance outweighs that minor inconvenience.

Features:

The best thing about this harness for my dogs is the five points of adjustment—I can really make the harness fit their bodies so there is no slipping and ensure that it's not too tight in some spots or baggy in others. On-leash walking is great with this harness. It distributes pulling and tugging well across the chest, shoulders, and torso of your pup.

It is fantastic for off leash running through wooded areas. The Web Master's slim design doesn't get caught on branches and sticks, which makes sprinting around easy and safe in densely wooded areas. The "briefcase" handle on the spine of the harness is excellent for lifting your dog out of sticky situations, and the reflective trim is bright at night.

Sizing:

If your dog is on the cusp of a size increase (the sizes overlap a little), go with the size up. I did not do that for my dog with a 27-inch rib cage. A small Web Master is 22-27 inches (56-69 cm) and medium is 27-32 inches (69-81 cm). I didn't want the harness to be baggy, so I went with the small. Next time I'll get a medium!

Construction, Durability, & Conditions:

Both of my dogs have this harness and they've held up great over the past six months. We hike almost every day and there is no real sign of wear and tear on either harness (outside of mud, dirt etc.).

I highly recommend this harness!

I've used this product (on both of my dogs) every day for the past six months. I've used two other harness brands and switching to Ruffwear has been amazing! It has been used for walking around the neighborhood, hiking, and backpacking.

This is a great harness. We have an Australian Shepherd that does not do well with collars. Bought this at an agility competition and have not left the house without it.

I do a ton of hiking and kayaking with my Aussie and she always wears this harness. It has literally gotten her out of a rock and a hard place. She got herself into a pretty big hole in a boulder field on the AT and I was able to simply reach down, grab the sturdy handle, and pull her out. I have also had to grab the handle on a couple rather challenging steep points during multiple hikes. I also attach a dog seat belt attachment to it in the car.

I would recommend this harness to anyone looking for a harness.
