REI Ti Ware Mug - 0.4 Liter

A great cup with a mediocre lid.
Pros
- Nice size
- Comfortable to hold
- Keeps drinks hot
- Lightweight
Cons
- The lid does not stay drip free
- Does not nest with a Nalgene bottle
I have had this cup for several years and use it at home as well as on the trail. It is very durable and works well for keeping your drink hot.
The only downside for me was the lid, which only sealed well for a few uses. i ended up getting rid of it and just using the cup like a normal coffee cup.
When I backpack I like to have a dedicated drinking cup and this is usually the one. It gets my morning coffee while I am using a pot to cook bacon and eggs and it get the evening glass of wine before bed.
The handles are comfortable and do not get hot. They also fold out of the way when you are ready to store the cup or would like to wrap your hands around to get some of the warmth from what is inside.
I have used this cup daily for at least 5 years and it is not showing any signs of wear and tear. It has been very durable.
I highly recommend this cup if you can do without the lid.

Very light in weight and could be used directly under a flame but dents very easily since it is very thin. Also fits most common sports bottle (check with yours before buying if this is your intent) inside it so you can buy a bottle to store water and then use the cup to boil water so it can be safe to drink.
