Primus 4 Season Stainless Steel 0.3L Mug
Primus offers several stainless steel bottles and mugs. All of which are crafted from 18/8 food grade stainless steel, which eliminate taste and odor retention...something to be thankful for in the outdoor arena where items can be continually in use for long periods of time without a thorough cleaning. Strong food or beverage odors do not linger to mix with the next contents choice. The two mug offerings appear identical with the only difference being volume 0.2L/8oz and 0.3L/10oz.
As a member of another website, I am given products to test from time to time in exchange for a review. I was provided this mug for testing and evaluation.
The Primus 4 Season Mug offers a double-walled construction which helps keep warm contents warm and cold contents cold longer...without transferring the content's temperature to your hands should you not be utilizing the handle.
The mug‘s double-walls appear thick, one piece, seamless and quite robust. The handle is formed flat stock stainless, expertly welded to the mug exterior. If there is a possible weakness with this mug, it could eventually be at that junction. But that is pure conjecture. I experienced no negative issues.
Cleaning the mug is no different than any other, and when at home, survives the dishwasher without issue. I found no warnings against non-dishwasher use.
On some mugs I have tried, they use a curled rim at the mouth of the cup which I, personally, do not prefer as it feels uncomfortable and unnatural. The Primus has no such edge...simply a nice smooth rim for making sipping or drinking uneventful.
I am looking forward to many years of service from the Primus 4 Season Mug.
