This pack is a great overall pack, lightweight and works well when it's wet out. Different types of storage all over the pack. I believe it's more than just a day pack.
Pros

Cons
- Lower straps may not be comfortable for all users when you have small items in the strap pockets.
To be honest, I think the pack fits my wife better than me. It rode up a little and when I had items in the pockets of the straps it made it a little annoying on longer hikes. It was still very comfortable. The ventilation worked pretty well between my back and the pack.
The Origin had plenty of storage with many pockets. The side pockets were a little shallow, but still worked well for bottles. The cinching of the straps to make it smaller was a great feature for quick day trips, kept everything very compact!
And the hydration was convenient. It has its own zippered pocket, easy to remove and clean, and worked well for both my wife and I.
