After 33 years I finally got my own tent as a birthday gift!!! I was very excited and loved everything about it, that was until the second time I used it and after only a few hours of it being put up, I noticed that the top looked funny. I thought the poles had slipped out only to find that they had broken in both spots on both top poles. I contacted Walmart where I got the tent and all i can do is get money back as they were out of tents and now what do I do??? I'm not very happy.

This is a great tent. I've had it for over a year. The construction of the tent is great. I have kids and even the zippers have stood up really well under a lot of use. The only suggestion I would make is that the manufacture needs to make replacement parts a little easier to find. I am not sure they even exist actually. I forgot to take the tent down one night (kids having a backyard camp night) the wind got it and the poles splintered under the pressure. I can't find replacement poles anywhere!!!

I had bought this tent for my daughter for her birthday and erected it only to have the shock chord break. I repaired it myself and used it camping a couple times. I put it up on 7/17/2011 and the poles split.
From what I am reading on this site, it is as good as trash now because the poles are not available. Ozark Trail, you think I am going to buy any of your products again, think again! You did not say that they were throw-aways on the bag it comes in!
Price Paid: $80
I bought the tent on July 29, 2006, and I used the first time on 9-02 to 9-10, and on 9-09 the main tent poles are not designed for this tent because it does not have a ben in the center and the poles will break in half if you leave the tent up too long (but I had the tent up 7 days and it broke) and I will tell everyone not to buy this tent.
Design: Ozark Trail dome 2 room tent
Sleeps: 4
Ease of Setup: No, and the main tent poles are not designed for this tent, they will bend, then will break

I took a new tent to Maine and camped in it for 3 days.
The tent leaked so bad that on the 3rd day I just put a
new tent in the trash. The is a useless product and I would not advise anyone to waste their time or money on it.

Broken poles after using it twice.
I bought the tent and used it twice and the poles broke!! No replacement parts can be found. It's a shame because the tent is fine, but not without the poles!!
