NRS HydroSilk Shirt L/S
Form and function combine to make a great rash guard/paddling top—plus it looks cute! Silky-soft material with no bothersome seams.
Pros
- Flattering fit
- SPF protection
- Keeps you warm (until it's soaked)
Cons
- Doesn't dry quickly—once you're wet, you're wet
The Hydrosilk shirt is very fitted, but not in an unflattering way. It is longish in the torso, which is nice. I wear mine on many of my paddling outings and have never been bothered by seams chafing, despite hours of repetitive movement!
I have noticed that it is great at wicking sweat away from the skin, but it doesn't dry very quickly when it's wet from elsewear (ocean, lake, river, etc), and being surrounded in that wetness can make you feel cold quick! If you are able to lay it out in the sun for a little while it dries reasonably fast, but doesn't seem to do so when you're wearing it (in my experience).
It's quite well made and has stood up to a lot of frequent use! I've had it for about 4 months and have worn it consistently a couple of times a week. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this top!
