Minus33 100% Wool Mid Weight Turtleneck
I would call this a good casual turtleneck that can certainly hold its own in performance conditions.
I wore it running today and wanted to be able to have some extra neck coverage when starting out (29 degrees). In medium, the sleeves are plenty long for me (6'2 - 34-35 sleeve) and the fit is close but not binding. Plenty of hem length to insure coverage. The medium weight merino kept me dry and warm.
The nice thing about a turtleneck is its versatility. I started out this morning with it unfolded and as I warmed up, folded it down. When folded, a turtle-neck really fills in the gaps left around the collar in my jackets, providing a better seal from the winds - important to me.
The fit and finish are good, about on par with my Smartwool pieces, just behind my Icebreakers.
