Were my second pair. Comfort and support from day one without need for break-in. Like the previous pair, the plastic support, external to the heel, fell apart after about four seasons of occasional use.

- Long term sturdiness
Wish these boots didn't use plastic on the outside (arch to heel). Inevitably, the palstic cracks, then falls off. The bottoms lasted longer than the plastic. Wish they'd use some other material, or better yet elminated this part.
