Marmot Starlight 1

The Starlight 1 has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best three-season tents for 2025.

Ultra lightweight backpacking tent, perfect for overnights!
Pros
- Ultra lightweight
- Easy setup
- Rainfly
- Excellent price for minimal money
Cons
- Not a tent you can change your clothes in, unless lying down
Trail weight is 1lb 12 ounces, two featherlight pole system makes putting it together a breeze. Packs up small and with ease. Rain fly also extends to make a small vestibule to store boots and pack out of the tent, but out of the rain.
It rained the first backpacking trip I used it on and I remained dry and my gear also. Great tent for minimal money and backed by Marmot's lifetime guarantee. Very happy with my purchase of this tent!
