La Sportiva Trango TRK GTX

A boot that for its price does not meet expectations.
Pros
- Lightweight
- Does not use raw materials derived from animals
- Good support
- Comfortable
Cons
- Durability
- Premature sole wear
- Water leaks
These are boots with which I had great expectations when buying them. I was struck by the fact that they do not use materials from animals and that the brands that compose them are all first class (La Sportiva, Gore Tex, Vibram).
After the first two or three uses, I started to get the first surprises—some parts of the plastic material that covers them had started to peel off, and the sole had literally started to disintegrate, missing pieces of it in some sectors.
So I requested a change in the store where I bought them, and after seeing them they did it without any inconvenience and they gave me another pair of the same.
I started using the new pair of boots, and for my disappointment was the same as the previous one. This time the pieces of the sole did not come off, but for the use they have, they have a very advanced wear.
So I must say that they are very nice boots and that they are really light for their category, but I think that their lack of durability means that I will not choose them again.

Background
I have used these boots on a wide variety of terrain, for several kilometers.
