This is an awesome tent. It is a tipi style and is floorless. I prefer floorless tents and tarps for shelter anymore.
The Kifaru 8 Man tipi is 8'6" tall, 15' wide and 18' long. The tent itself weighs 7#s 9 oz. Add the large woodstove and it takes the total weight to 14 1/2 pounds.
This is the best group hunting shelter I have used. I would maybe prefer the 12 Man Tipi. Kifaru makes individual tarps all the way up to giant 24 man tipis. http://www.kifaru.net
