I bought this tent because of its novel, "out of the box" design. One pole, 40" height and relatively lightweight for an inexpensive double wall tent. It's first use was in a fall snow/rain storm in the Sierra and it proved dry, warm and considering its meager16 square feet of interior space, comfortable. The vestibule was roomy enough for my 4300 cu. in. pack and sz 12 boots.

I am 6'2" and it was a bit of a challenge getting in and out, but most of the ultralight 1 person tents seem to be that way.

Set up was more complicated than average, mainly in the attachment of the fly to the tent body. Once on it was fine. There is just more messing with stakes than a freestanding tent requires.

Certainly not the quality of older North Face tents that I have owned but it is suitable enough for the short overnight trips that I do these days.

Modifications I have added are: titanium stakes and a small diameter nylon rod to act as a hoop to spread the mesh canopy out at the top so that it give a feeling of more space when sitting up.

Design: Three season non freestanding
Sleeps: 1
Ease of Setup: Harder than a free standing or hoop style tent.
Weight: 3 lbs 1 oz. as delivered
