Karrimor Ksb Sierra
I was attracted to these boots because of the vibram sole, their weight and the Karrimor name; and so I thought I'd use them for hicking and cycling. I perserved to try and break them in, but months later my left foot felt like it had been in a vise. In fairness, I should say that my right foot felt fine.
I have purchased gear from this company for years, without a problem, so was surprised when I called up the company. Out came the legalese right away -'Your contract is with the company you bought them from. Go back to the shop and discuss it with them..' So I did, and they were 'indepenedently tested' after being sent back to Karrimor. Apparently there was 'nothing wrong with them'. Which surprised me because, frankly something was WRONG with the left one. Ive never had any problem with any shoes or boots (yes, these were not my first pair of Karrimor boots either) in my whole life. The shop was good enough to give me a partial credit for the boots, but one thing is certain - I will not be buying any more kit from Karrimor.
