Karrimor Air Space 35+5

rated 4.0 of 5 stars
photo: Karrimor Air Space 35+5 overnight pack (35-49l)

I used this pack to take my child backpacking and camping. Due to his age I carried almost all the shared gear. The pack held up well and distributed weight well.

Pros

  • Pack is ideal weight/size for moderately lightweight fair weather backpacking or winter hiking.
  • Sits well and straps seem to hold moderate stress.

Cons

  • An extra daisy chain or bottom straps would be great.
  • Side pockets a little shallow on 25L for 1liter bottles.

Love the look and feel of these bags. Can't wait to see how they hold up with moderate use. Plan to use each bag 6-8 times a year.

Background

Bought a 35+5 and a 25 Airspace from a friend, primarily to upgrade my gear options. Plan to use the larger for 2-3 day camping/backpacking summer excursions or 1-2 day winter camping. Smaller bag is designated for spring/fall hiking where I can carry emergency clothes and shelter in case of having to spend an unexpected night or weather challenge.
