I bought this pack after much research into ultra-light backpacks. My knees required me to lighten my load. At 2.5# this pack is packed with features. Load lifters and padded hip belt plus compression straps to cinch down your load.

I've used this pack on one trip so far and it is extremely comfortable with a 30-35# load. The specs say it is 49 liters (3000 cu in) but it will take more. The front loading feature is nice for ease of access and the top pocket holds all your close at hand stuff. Mesh panels around the outside provide additional carrying capacity along with two straps on the bottom for sleeping pad etc.

Hydration capatible and water resistant too. The foam frame sheet provides good load support and the venting material on the shoulder pads, hip belt and back area help keep you cooler. All in all, this pack delivers a lot for a little cash. If you are looking to cut weight but don't want to sacrifice all the cool features, then I recommend
this pack.

Very nice lightweight pack, I have used on several trips now including a difficult hike in Dolly Sods WV. This pack is very lightweight, and has enough space for 3-5 days depending on how light you go. The straps adjust very well, and make your load comfortable to carry. I would highly recommend especially for the price.
