Innate Aqueduct Water Systems

This is a useful water storage collapsable container for alpine climbers, backpackers, rafters, surfers, or large group campling trips.

I have used the Innate Aqueduct Water Transporter on a number of camping, climbing, and river trips in the last year. It is very well made and the only durability concerns I have seen are the glued/welded seam on the bottom. I haven’t had any leaks, however I added seam grip to the bottom as preventative maintenance. 

This product is very useful to aid in melting snow for drinking/cooking. It is essential for summer alpine climbing while base camping on a glacier. In the Bugaboos, we filled it up with snow, left it out, the black color and the sun melted snow inside and that helped us out by conserving fuel while melting snow using a backpacking stove.

It can be hung from a tree branch, be supported by a tripod of collapsed trekking poles, a car door, or against a tree. It's fun to be creative about how to hang or rest it against the ground for filling up water bottles.

There is a see-through gauge on the side that measures volume in liters and in gallons. This is useful for lots of reasons but I found it was most useful when filling the aqueduct with large quantities of untreated water.

Due to its large flexible opening, I've been able to easily collect large amounts of water from difficult to reach spots like springs flowing out of rocks in Utah.

It also makes a great shower to use while camping and heats up water similarly to a solar shower with the black fabric.

The valve is not intuitive to use at first and it seems like no one can figure it out at first, however once you figure out how to properly open and close the valve, it's pretty easy.

This item is pretty heavy once it is full, I recommend transporting the transporter in a large backpack. It's really important to make sure the valve is closed prior to transport for obvious reasons. A friend of mine was literally hosed due to not properly closing the valve and putting the aqueduct in his pack for a short hike back to camp.

It is also not 100% watertight at the top. the roll top closure helps, but this product was not designed to be carried around upside down or left on its side.
