photo: ImpetroGear Modular Bike Pack 15L daypack (under 35l)

The Impetro Gear Bike Pack has been awesome for my cycling trips. It’s just the right size—15L—to carry everything I need without feeling bulky, and I love how easy it is to switch between packs with the zip-on/zip-off system. I'd totally recommend it to any cyclists looking for a comfy, lightweight backpack for their rides—be it a quick spin or a longer adventure!

Pros

  • Lightweight and comfortable for long rides.
  • Convenient 15L capacity, perfect for carrying essentials.
  • Zip-on/zip-off system makes switching packs super easy.
  • X-Harness design offers great support and freedom of movement.
  • Stays securely in place, even on rough terrain.
  • Durable materials that hold up well in different weather conditions

Cons

  • The bike pack is compact, but you can attach other packs for more storage.
  • Lacks many external pockets, though the modular design offers flexibility.
  • 15L capacity may feel small for long trips, but swapping to a larger pack is easy with the zip-on/zip-off system.

The Impetro Gear Bike Pack has been a fantastic addition to my cycling gear. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and the 15L size is perfect for carrying all the essentials during my rides without being bulky. The zip-on/zip-off system is a game-changer, letting me easily swap packs when I need more space. The X-Harness design gives me full freedom of movement, so I barely feel it even on long rides.

I’ve also heard from friends who’ve used it for skiing and mountain adventures, and they had the same great experience. While more pockets would be handy, the modular system really makes up for it, making this pack a versatile choice for any outdoor adventure!

Background

I've been using the Impetro Gear Bike Pack for about six months on various rides, including a 50-mile trip through Zion National Park. It’s been through different terrains and weather, from smooth roads to rocky trails and sunny days to light rain, and it's held up great. This is my first modular backpack, and it’s been a huge improvement over the regular cycling packs I’ve used before.
