Really good for basic, everyday use. Not as convenient as the sport top.
Pros
- Very tight seal
- Comfortable finger loop
Cons
- Tends to trap water inside
- Hard to clean under rubber seal
I do recommend using this product as most Hydro Flasks come with this type of cap. Not great for larger Hydro Flasks because it might become too heavy for the loop when full. Very easy to open, but not as great for quick access to water like the Sport Top.
I have had two separate Hydro Flasks with this type of lid and one of them has water stuck in the cap that I can't seem to get out and the other one is still in great shape after about a year. The rubber seal on the inside is slightly hard to clean out, but I pry it out with a butter knife and clean it with hot soapy water and then just push it back into place.
Overall a very good product, but I would consider getting a few other types of cap and reviewing those and then comparing.
