Herman Survivor Python 2

rated 0.5 of 5 stars

The Survivor Python 2 has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best footwear for 2024.

My husband purchased these at Wal-mart. They looked like a really nice outdoor boot. I am not sure if he wore them more than once or not, but the back heel area pulled away from the rubber sole part. The bottoms of them still look like they just came out of the box.

Unfortunately these were bought some time ago (this happened soon after buying them, I found them in the basement where he put them in disgust) and I am sure Wal-mart would not take them back. This type of quality is disgusting. Does anybody out there know if Herman would replace them?

I have a pair of Herman Survivor Python boots that I purchased several years ago. Hardly wore them.

Took them out last month to shovel snow and found that the rubber/plastic lower boot had seperated from the leather boot on both boots. Because Wal-mart no longer carries this model, they were unable to refund or replace the boots.

I am stuck with a pair of useless pieces of junk. I don't know if contacting Herman company or Wal-mart is going to help.

Price Paid: around $50

Bought a pair of Herman's Survivor Python II boots -- wore them ONLY to shovel our driveway... which means perhaps 10 times a year for 1/2-hour each time: The rubber on the left boot literally broke and pulled away from the leather.

These things are JUNK, JUNK, JUNK! I have a previous pair of similar priceline boots for the same task that lasted 20 years. These lasted 2.

Absolute garbage!
