Hanwag Lhasa
The best boot in the world.
Pros
- Flexible
- Soft, silk slipper comfort
- Breathability
- Light
Cons
- Absolutely none
I have owned most boots on the market—Zamberlan, Meindl, Salomon, Koflach, Alt-Berg, Keen, Brasher, and other Hanwags.
The minute you slide your foot into the Lhasa you feel the difference (Amazing). They are double leather construction, soft leather lined, which is so much more comfortable than membrane-lined boots, which make feet sweat more and add friction. Just forget it. Membrane-lined boots repellency doesn't last.
Clean them, treat them, and they will repel water and last well.
As I am writing this review I am waiting for a new pair of Lhasas. I walk 2k miles per year and have worn out the soles/footbed. They don't need breaking in. Great out of the box !!
Everyone has different size/shape feet, so you may feel differently.
These boots actually feel like part of my foot. No other boot feels like that!!!
They feel like a fabric boot, but they're bloody leather!!!
You got to love the YAK.
They are expensive. Save up, wait. Then enjoy!
