Giga Tent Yellowstone

I picked up this tent new for half price. And I only used it 2 times, as it didn't fit my needs.
Pros
Nice stitching. Everything was were it was supposed to be with out any misses or waves. Cleanly cut and nicely seamed.
Nice mesh kept out the all the little critters.
With the rain fly off I had a wonderful view.
One very large inner pocket for you stuff. As I go alone one pocket is all I need.
For a two person tent it is huge! You could, in a pinch, fit 3 in it.
The strut pole allows plenty of head space. More than enough room to stretch, and dress in the morning. The fasteners that hold the strut poles in are great. I see no way that the pole could rip the rain fly.
Bath tub floor. A must for me.
On to the rain fly. Once again stitching is great, and so is the tape job. No loose ends anywhere. The flap over the zipper stays in place. Had no problems with the zipper catching the fabric.
Pack weight 3 lb 8 oz. This weight doesn't include stakes. I measure the weight like that because everyone has different stakes.
Two doors. A plus for me.
Cons
- Vestibules are VERY small! Only a pair of boots can fit in them.
- I have read many different measurements. On the waterproofing, 800mm-1500mm HH.
- In the morning I found that the rain fly would touch the screening. As this is a very big no-no in the PNW I dropped my rating one star.
- One storage pocket would be a drawback if you were camping with another person.
Conclusion
The Giga Yellowstone would be a great tent for camping in mild conditions. But to put it through the winter storms of the PNW would be a no go. It is very roomy for its weight. And looks to be extremely well made. Plus it just looks very cool :)
