Gander Mountain Dragonfly
I have enjoyed my DragonFly tent from Gander Mountain for several camping trips. During the very last camp last summer, one of the tent poles broke. The first Gander Mountain store that I went to had no idea what to do and advised that I buy another tent. This spring, I went to another Gander Mountain store that was at a loss to help me, BUT!!! was able to provide the customer service number for NorthPoleUsa.
The customer service person that I spoke to had no question but when I purchased my GMT10060 tent, how many times I used it, and which pole broke. NO QUESTION!! She agreed to send out a new pole post haste. She was cordial and apologetic. Out of adversity is borne opportunity!! I will not hesitate to make NorthPole my number one choice in tenting equipment. Thank you!!!!!!!!
As a foot note, I contacted the local Gander Mountain store to advise the camping accessories manager that all she had to do for future customer complaints is provide the customer service number 800-366-1599. The manager was extremely grateful as she had previously felt at a loss as to how to satisfy my complaint.
You have one more satisfied customer and a grateful retail store manager. GOOD WORK!!! I look forward to recommending your products to my friends!
P.S. Gander Mountain said they are discontinuing this tent. I will gladly attest to the fact that they should reconsider this opinion.

I bought this tent three years ago just before a camp out. I took it out of the box and never had to do a thing to it. We had major storms all weekend and I never had a drop of water in the tent. I am over 6' and a big dude. I do not touch the end walls with my feet or sides with my arms like most bivy tents. My son and I have slept together in the tent and we have plenty of room, he is no little tike either.
I like the way it sets up quick, even in the dark. I did have a bit of a condesation problem a few times but found that I did not have the ventilation correct so it was operator air. I have since bought one of their bigger dome tents and love it the same, I will review it another day.

Two years ago I was looking for a high quality backpacking tent for an archery elk hunt in the mountains of Idaho. After checking out all the big names, I went into a Gander Mountain store and found the Dragonfly. The tent is spacious 100" by 60" at the widest; plenty of room for myself and all my gear. Great features like aluminum poles, taped seams, tub floor and Dry-tanium (water repellent fabric). Like another review said, quick and easy to put up. Packs rather small and under 6 lbs.
