Simply put, this is a well-designed, well-constructed, stylish, and environmentally responsible jacket. If you can afford it, you will be glad you bought it.

Pros

  • Quality construction
  • Stylish
  • Functional and detail-oriented

Cons

  • Expensive

I look for clothing that will stand up to hard use and shows signs that the people who made it used it a lot. This jacket has many little features that show that it was well-thought out by the designers. And though it is lightweight, it in no way feels flimsy. Excellent attention to detail, an excellent jacket.

One note, it's best for slim torsos. I am fairly skinny and can fit an insulated jacket underneath it, but heavier people might feel confined.

In follow up to a comment, the jacket is environmentally responsible by being made of recycled polyester and is fully recyclable by following the instructions on the interior label.  If you check out the Fjallraven website, you'll find that they show real dedication to responsible stewardship of our planet.
