First Lite Men's 308 Pants
These First Light 308 pants are some of the best I've ever worn. They are super comfortable and look fine wearing around town. At the same time, they're tough, somewhat stretchy, and made with the outdoorsman in mind. I love the pockets and features of these pants.

As an avid backpacker and hiker, I've tried quite a few hiking pants in my life. I've really come to enjoy a good pair of hiking pants! Although I only recently heard about First Lite, I wish I had heard about them before. These 308 pants that I got from First Lite are legit!
First of all, they fit me like a glove. I usually wear a 32x34—that size in these 308s is perfect for me. (Side note: I'm 6' tall and 185 lbs) They are extremely comfortable to wear. In fact, I would wear them every day if I didn't have to wash them!
Second, these 308s are constructed very well. They feel sturdy and solid. The polyester material is stretchy but not too stretchy. They're also pretty durable. I haven't hit any thorn bushes yet, but I'm guessing these would do OK through them. They repel water a little, but I wouldn't say they're DWR. Also, the 308s are made for cooler weather. They're not lined at all, but they aren't super thin like some of my summer hiking pants. These 308s are perfect for weather in the 20s-40s (give or take). If you put a baselayer underneath them, they'd be great for even colder weather.
Third, the pockets on these pants are great. They have the normal two side pockets and two rear pockets. But they also have a zip pocket on the front left thigh and a zip pocket on the side/rear of the right leg. Inside the regular right pocket is a smaller pocket where you can slip keys or a pocket knife in. These pants also have side vents—long side zippers that you open to get some airflow. There's mesh behind the zipper to keep bugs and junk out if you have the vents open. I haven't really used the vents yet because I've not been too warm in them.
The only negatives of these pants are that they do get somewhat wrinkled when you wear them—especially when you sit awhile. That's not a big deal to me, but you may have noticed that on the pics. I also wish these pants were slightly water-repellent; I wish water beaded off of them better than it does.
All in all, these legitimately are some of my favorite cooler-weather outdoor pants. I grab these before I grab others in my closet! They cost a bit more than some other pants, but I'd say they are worth it, especially since they're covered by a decent warranty against any defects.
