The Gen2 Titanium Folding firebox is an amazing piece of equipment that is easy to use and is only 4oz (113g). It is an extremely well thought out little stove. All the pieces are attached, so when you need to use it, simply take it out of its pouch that fits in your shirt pocket and it unhinges into the appropriate shape. There has been no warping or jamming from the multiple times we have used it.

When used with wood, there are feed slots on two of the sides that conveniently allow twigs and small branches to be fed in from the sides. The downside is that you will not be able to add bigger pieces of wood to the stove unless you take your pot off. I recommend that you also purchase the flame guard if you are thinking to use it with wood as the flames can really heat up the handle of your pot.

The Gen2 Ti stove also comes standard with two "nano sticks" that can be slotted into the corners to support a Trangia Spirit burner or Trangia gas burner. The Spirit burner works really well and the adjustable simmer ring can be used to regulate the flame to some limited degree.

A plate can be purchased separately for the use of hexamine fuel tablets.

The stove can support both small and large diameter pots, however I find that the larger pans will only cook in the area above the flame. Because the pot is only supported by four "L" shaped titanium wires, it can be unstable, but with a bit of imagination this problem can be mitigated.

I have used the stove in all sorts of terrain from beaches in Thailand and Malaysia to the Andean Alps at altitudes of 15,200 ft (4,600m), it has performed admirably and I would recommend it to anyone who wants an ultralight reliable piece of equipment that just works.
