This review is of theLace-To-Toe Walkers by Esatto. Having shoes that fit may not sound like a huge deal to everyone, but it certainly is for me. Even if had "normal" sized feet I'd be delighted with these shoes.

Pros

  • They fit
  • They're comfortable
  • They are obviously extremely high quality
  • I like the look

Cons

  • Seems like a lot of money until they arrive

My new Lace to Toe Walkers came today. I am delighted. The quality of materials and workmanship were obvious as soon as I took them out of the box. It is not the kind of leather one sees on factory made-shoes. It has a much more supple look and feel. The fit is magnificent. The look is first-rate too. I was worried that custom-made shoes would have an awkward look about them but these do not. They are quite handsome.

I have very narrow feet at my toes and my heels are so narrow even AAAs slip off. Also, my feet have grown longer over time. I used to get by with store bought but that doesn't work anymore. Because my joy and my solace come while walking in the woods, well-fitted shoes are a high priority for me.

I have the day off today and the the weather is clear and beautiful here in New England. I just took my first walk in the woods with my new shoes. I have no doubts about my purchase and expect to appreciate these shoes for many years. I'd have bought them years ago if I knew how satisfying they would be.

Alex at Esatto is a pleasure to work with. He knows his business and he is a gentleman. I look forward to working on the next pair in the very very near future.
