Equinox Pileus Ultralite Rain Hat

This is a great hat. Weighs 1 oz, and is well built. Chin strap is comfortable and easily tucks into the hat if not needed. The brim is supple enough to be wadded or folded away, yet doesn't hold its packed shape and stands up to moderate winds and serious downpours very well. It does need to be seam sealed, a minor maintenance step. It packs so small I keep it in my wallet for when I am waiting for the bus in the rain, one of the few pieces of ultralight kit I make regular use of off-trail.
