Deuter ACT Lite 70 + 10 SL

This pack is lightweight and is large enough for multi-day backpacking trips. Well designed with lots of user friendly features including a detachable lid for day trips.

I bought this pack (on sale) to replace my Bora 75 Arcteryx pack I have used for the past 15 years. I wanted a lightweight pack that had plenty of room to store gear for a mulit-day backpacking trip. I also wanted extra room to carry some of my 9-yr-old grandson's gear when he comes with me.

I just received this pack a few days ago, so I haven't used it on the trail yet. I have packed it with all my gear and it is really comfortable. It has straps to compress the pack if you don't need to carry as much. It is hydration compatible, although I still like to carry my water bottle — 2 deep pockets for this! I love the detachable lid!  

I have years of backpacking experience to know this is going to be a great purchase!
