This review could go in multiple categories, but boots will suffice if nobody can add it to others. Dave Page, Cobbler is the "Go To" source for resoling. If you want, "better than new" work on your shoes or boots, this is the place to go!

Pros

  • Excellent work
  • Experience and Knowledge
  • Quick turnaround

Cons

  • There are none

I've sent a few pair of shoes in to have them resoled and I am impressed at what comes back. The work is as good, if not better than new and...you have a broken in shoe/boot with a new sole!

I recently sent in a pair of Zamberlan Venice shoes in and less than 10 days after receiving them, they are back with new soles that are even better than came on the new shoes! The work is incredible. There are no flaws and only someone intimately familiar with the shoes would know they were resoled.

Everyone has probably already heard of Dave Page and knows his reputation. Don't hesitate to email and send your stuff in. You can get new life from old boots and shoes. Just don't wait until they are ruined. I missed out on resoling a favorite pair of TEVAs because I waited too long.

Thought I was getting a re-sole not a mess back...

Pros

  • offer a re- sole service

Cons

  • didn't get professional service at all; boots look worse than when they shipped in.

Terrible service. Ripped up rear seams stitching and glue that looks like science project... The soles are sticking out the back of the boots 1/4 of an inch on one and 1/8 on the other. These boots look like crap amateur hour.

Didn't bother to check the seams were ripped open. Had to send them back. A bit rude on the phone. Don't even think these are the right size soles and quality control out the door they could care less...

Didn't bother to send return tracking number. My boots just showed up. So $140 plus another $15 to ship back and they didn't even polish them up or at least throw in a set of laces. Never again!
