Darn Tough midweights give you fit, comfort, and durability, plus a lifetime warranty in a reliable sock.
Pros
- Tight fitting
- Durability
- Wicks moisture away
- Antimicrobial
- Guaranteed for life warranty
- 5% donated to the ATC
Cons
- Pricey
- Slight pilling
They are form fitting, comfortable on long hikes, which average 50-100 miles. Wick perspiration away. They are comfortable with the knitting loops spread on the pressure point areas of the foot and also ankle. They sit well locking in the heel in boots or shoes. I have had slipping occur in other socks.
These are warm socks. I've been in 10-degree weather wearing these and some lower temps. If you're mountaineering these socks are not the ones you want; look at mountaineering socks.
I have used the warranty on another pair of Darn Toughs and they back their guarantee 100%.
