Cumulus Incredilite Endurance
Shipping back to Poland is not a problem if you buy the right size.
Pros
- Extremely lightweight, highly water-resistant, and very strong tear-resistant face fabric.
- The sizing is for fit people vs those with potbellies.
- Fully featured with three external pockets that are zippered, a two-way zipper which is good for belaying, and two inside drop-in pockets for gloves and hats.
- Compared to other brands for what you get it is vastly cheaper than other high-end companies like Patagonia etc.
Cons
- Good shape is a little weird and that it exposes a lot of the face. Of course the purpose is to work well with goggles and a helmet.
- Also the jacket is so light that the hood feels like it doesn't want to stay on when not wearing a large hat or helmet.
- Also after using it over a season most of the pull tabs for the zippers tore, which is an easy fix, but just kind of annoying.
This is a fantastic jacket for those that bought it and got the right size as well as used it for the intended purpose for which it was designed. If you didn't get the right size then you can usually resell it for a tiny loss. Plus this is a very niche jacket company so if you're buying it just to walk the dog or go to the shops that is not the purpose of this jacket. It is for climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing, etc.
As far as sizing and returns: you can do what I did and buy $5 international phone credit. Then call them to discuss sizing...and get the right size. Plus, you cannot fault a company for being located in Poland. That has nothing to do with the quality of the jacket. That is buyer's error not seller's error!
Again this is a mountaineering-specific jacket for those that are extremely knowledgeable about gear. If you're not knowledgeable get some help or buy from other companies.
Background
I am a jacketaholic, but I also snowshoe, cross country ski, ice climb, winter camp, backpack, and travel. I've only had the jacket for one season but I've also worn it for work doing installs in the winter of camera equipment. Even brushing up against brick and other materials that houses and shops are made of I've only suffered one tiny little hole which was easily patched with Tenacious Tape.

Do not buy products from Cumulus Equipment if you live in the United States. Their products cannot be returned due to the excessive pricing of returns to Poland.
Pros
- Great gear
Cons
- Impossible to return to Poland without excessive cost, more than $200
The overall fit of the jacket is very tight under the arms and in the waist. I am 5'6" and 160 lbs and the medium was too small. Was not able to return or exchange for a different size due to the cost of shipping via DHL, UPS or Fedex—over $200.
As much as I was looking forward to supporting this independent company, and as good as their gear is, I cannot recommend it.

Other products from Arc'teryx and Marmot are comparable and can be easily returned and exchanged.

Excellent warm, light down jacket.
Pros
- Great fill power and amount of down
- Good features
Cons
- Don't love the zipper on the bottom that allows for zipping up as well
Great fit, features, warmth. Warmer than similar weight Patagonia, Arc'teryx.
The sleeves have a velcro flap so that one can adjust the tension there, but I think I'd prefer just a normal elastic. I could live without the fact that the main zipper is a dual zip, meaning that when zipped up one can unzip the bottom part of the jacket. Would rather have just a normal zipper.
Background
Owned this for two years and used for hiking and dog walking.
