Columbia Ultimate ROC Pant

Durable, comfortable, and protective pants. When the weather is not too hot, These are my favorite hiking pants because they are comfortable all day long and they can take the abuse.

These quickly became some of my favorite pants to wear. They are very comfortable and can take the abuse of the trail or outside work. 

They are Omni-shield pants that resist rain and stains. I love this for creek crossings or the occasional shower that you might encounter on the trail. They will not keep you dry in downpours, but the splash up from the creek won't bother you at all in these pants. They also feature Omni-shade UPF 50 sun protection, which is great when you're going to be out in the sun all day. Another great feature is the side zippered pocket, which helps to secure important objects. 

These pants fit pretty true to size. I got the size in waist and length that I always get and they fit perfect. 

I have slid down rocks, walked through briar patches, and worked hard in these pants putting them to the rugged test and they have held up perfectly. 

One negative thing about them is that the front button is a snap button that comes unsnapped easier than I would like. I like that it is a snap button, because it makes it easier to operate when it's cold or when I have gloves on. It just comes unsnapped too easily for me. 

I typically don't even bring any other pants with me on camping trips, I just wear these more than once because they're so comfortable and perfect for the outdoors. I highly recommend them.
