Coleman Camp and Sport Towel

Coleman does it again with a quick drying lightweight camp towel. One of many campers' and hikers' problems is carrying extra weight and packing room so bringing your bathroom towel is out of the question.

This Quick-Dry Polyester fabric dries extremely fast and is so thin you can use it opened up as a liner for your backpack so that in essence it takes up no extra room in your pack.

And talk about being super absorbent. I am not a small guy but this towel dries my whole body in no time.

I even cut these towels into smaller sizes and use them for doing dishes at the campsite. They are very soft towels and they won't break the bank.

The Coleman Camp and Sport Towel is a quick-dry polyester fabric that measures 9 3/4 wide by 23 inches long. It is extremely thin and cannot be measured using a ruler with the naked eye.

As camp towels go this towel is super absorbent and no matter how wet you are, be assured that using this towel you will be dry in no time.

Because it is so thin there is no need to fold this towel. Simply unfold the towel and use it as a liner for your backpack and in that form factor it will take up zero room in your backpack. 

This material is really hard to accidentally tear, and can be cut to smaller sizes for use as a face towel or for drying dishes after your camp meals. It is large enough and absorbent enough to dry your entire body and hair, and it dries fast enough in the sun laid out on a rock after wringing it to dry within the hour or less on a hot sunny day.

For the very low price of $2, and for the super absorbent quick drying material, and the zero packing space lost from it in my backpack, this was a happy addition to my camping gear.

Background

I am one of those campers that will take a shower even in the winter. Yes, I usually freeze my buttocks off, but cleanliness is Godliness. That and I sweat a lot so I am doing both myself and others around me a favor.

It wasn't until I bought this product that I stopped carrying household towels form home on my outdoor adventures.

I have seen other camp towels that were significantly smaller than this one from Coleman and that were less absorbent. I honestly have not tried any of the expensive camp towels out there though. Being frugal, even I had no problem forking over $2 bucks for this camp towel, and I am glad that I did,

I have used this for drying myself, drying dishes, and even bought a few for when I wash my SUV to dry it so that there are no streaks on the truck.

At this low price from Ocean State Job Lot, it was a no brainer to buy them.
