Exactly what the product should be. Durable. Real. Good blade. Sharp. It’s what it described. It’s been put to work many times and hasn’t let me down yet. Great for a everyday carry. As a avid knife collector this is worth every penny.
Pros
- Sharp as any knife I've ever received.
- The locking mechanism is super-sturdy.
- Better than most knives that cost twice as much.

This is a great knife! I am a Cold Steel believer. I own over 100 knives of all makers and price range. I always go back to Cold Steel. I have the original Recon with Axis lock. I liked the quickness of that lock better, but the handle design of this model is greatly improved.
This lock reminds me of my first Buck knife; in time you get used to it. It arrived sharp, razor sharp. These days Cold Steel knifes either arrive Razor sharp or just sharp. Sometimes you need to strop it to put that final touch on. Not this one, you could shave your face!
Lockup is tight and construction is strong. You will get years of use that ranges from range work to self-defense.
Background
Holds an edge well, good size and feel, and out of the box it was sharp enough to shave with! Easily one of my favorite knives.
