This is a great camp fork for roasting marshmallows or hot dogs over the campfire, but I wish it was telescoping for easier packing.

Pros

  • Sturdy construction
  • Easy to use

Cons

  • Not telescoping

When we were first getting into camping, we bought this camp fork to roast marshmallows or hotdogs over the campfire.

Here is a video of our first family tent camping trip:

Since this was our first time camping as a family, we knew that we wanted something to roast food over the campfire, so we picked up this camping fork to use as a skewer for marshmallows and hotdogs. It worked great.

We only had one problem with it, but it's a minor problem, and that is the fact that it doesn't have a telescoping handle on it so that I can make it more compact to fit inside out camping totes. After searching a little, I did find that they do make one that telescopes down, so when this one breaks, I know that I will be getting that one.
