Chinook Sportster Hooded Tapered 23F
This bag is small and light but keeps you reasonably warm in the Spring, Summer and early Fall. Excellent if you need an ultra compact bag. Not for Winter camping.
Pros
- Lightweight and compact.
- Reasonably priced
Cons
- As with most bags of this sort they are tight for big guys.
My wife and I required two very light and small 3-season sleeping bags to use while backpacking. These weigh 2 1/2 pounds each and with the addition of a lightweight fleece liner keep us warm in our Spring, Summer and Fall backpacking trips. We like our bags to be small enough to fit inside our packs and not strapped to the outside. These bags fit that bill.
We've used these bags on a number of trips now and have been pleased with them. They're a bit of a compromise, but then, what isn't.
