Owned 5+ years, tough, comfortable, taken the crashes very well during enduro events. Best and longest lasting piece of mtb kit I own. Well worth the money.

Pros

  • Tough material
  • Stealth Black doesn't fade over years of abuse.
  • Weather proof

Cons

  • Could be lighter, but would lose durability

I did some research when buying this Camelbak. I wanted enough carry space, tough, good looking and value for money.

Purchased in 2007, have competed in various mtb events, fallen off going through thick overgrowth, and still the Chaos looks good without damage. This has got to be my best and most endured piece of mtb kit.

Small, secure and high quality.

It's very tiny. There is only a minimal amount of space to carry items.

This is an excellent back. Exactly what you would expect from Camelbak. Perfect for re-hydration. However that pretty much all it's good for. If you're looking for a pack to carry items this leaves much to be desired. It's great for a hydration pack with a bit of extra space for some essentials.

It does have various straps on the outside that can hold various things. However if you wanted to carry an extra pair of shoe for example to change out of your bike footwear, you'd be packing thongs.
