Big Agnes Pomer Hoit SL 0°
Great sleeping bag. Hiked the wilderness part of the Ganaraska Trail in August 2013 with my dad.
Pros
- Packs small and light
- Good for really cold weather
- Works great with Big Agnes Air Core mummy pad
Cons
- Zipper slides open on its own if not fully zipped up
- Needs late fall weather, too warm otherwise
Fall weather was setting in. Mosquitoes were few. There were no black flies as weather was cool in the evening.
I like to sleep cold and along with the Big Agnes Air Core mummy pad that I purchased for this sleeping bag it was just a little too warm for me. I feel this bag would be better in for me in cold weather.
Tried unzipping the bag just partway, but the bag always ended up fully unzipped which was not really that much of an issue for me but could be for someone else.
Lost pad for my dad's sleeping bag halfway through the hike, so he used the Air Core pad after that, and I actually slept better without it.
