Big Agnes Anvil Horn 0°

This is one of my favorite sleeping bags. It is not only very comfortable at 0 but also well made and extremely packable. .
Pros
- Very warm winter bag
- Material is extremely soft while holding up under all conditions
- Very fair price point
Cons
- The zipper does tend to bind up at times.
- Not easy to use with long-wide sleeping pads.
Living in a small cabin in the middle of Superior National Forest I’ve had many opportunities to use this sleeping bag. I tend to use it for any temperature between 20 and -10 degrees. Bag liner used for coldest nights. This bag also preforms well when a bit wet and dries quickly.
I have other winter bags but continually choose this Big Agnes product when heading out into the forest. Couldn’t be happier.
Background
I’ve lived in the Superior National Forest for the last 31 years. During that time I’ve used countless different sleeping bags. However at this point I feel like I’ve put together a great sleep system. I have also backpacked thru South America, Mexico, Scotland, and other European countries. And continue to pursue different adventures wherever they may lead.
