Knives and camping are two things in my mind that are simply intertwined. I carry a knife wherever I go. There are so many to choose from and over the years I have ended up with a collection. This 535BK-4 BUGOUT though is the one I always carry now. I can depend on it to be sharp and do exactly what I need.
I have not sharpened the blade since I got it about 2 years ago now. It's not surgical razor sharp any longer but sharp enough to do anything I need. I will be sharpening it in the future soon though.
I've never felt like this knife has failed in anything I have needed to use it for. It feels solid in hand and is easy to grip. There are so many knives out there to choose from. I could take bigger and add more weight but increase what I can do, smaller and decrease what I can do. This knife seems to fit perfectly into the backpacking edc category for me though.
I feel no need to carry another knife, this one does everything I need and looks beautiful while doing it.
Background
I have so many knives I can't even count now. Birthdays, Xmas gifts, and just ones that I have bought over the years looking for the perfect knife.
