Easily my favorite winter jacket. I live on the east coast of Canada where it is windy, wet, and cold. This jacket protects me from all but full blown rain storms! It has kept me comfy hiking and standing still in temperatures ranging from +10 C down to -45 C (with windchill). I wouldn't want to wear it above 0 C if I was doing anything really active like biking, running, or back county skiing, and that might be pushing it.

I'm constantly surprised at how warm this jacket is for its weight, and in my local climate the wind proof fabric is a must have. It's extremely easy to wear. I don't think of it when I have it on, which is probably why I reach for it so often. That and it's ability to keep me warn in such a wide range of conditions and activity levels.

I will mention that I do not sweat a lot, so those that do might not find this jacket useful over such a wide range of activity and conditions.
